About Betty's Azalea Ranch

Betty’s Azalea Ranch was founded in 1962 when Foy and Betty Cockerham began propagating and growing azaleas on a sunny hillside in Fairfax, Virginia. More than six decades later, that same family passion drives everything we do. Today, Betty’s is one of Northern Virginia’s largest garden centers, spanning 16 acres of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, water gardening and pond supplies, stone, mulch, and more. We’re proud to carry the largest selection of azaleas of any garden center in America, alongside specialty plants like Japanese maples, rhododendrons, and rare varieties you simply won’t find at the big box stores, all at prices that compete with anyone in the region.
