This project was installed in Burke, Virginia. Providing attractive useable space in a heavily sloped and wooded area is often a concern of many clients. Our designers pay careful attention to the site and provide a variety of unique solutions.

A formal entrance was planned and included a beautiful walkway leading to the front door. Plantings were chosen to accentuate the character of the house and provide interest as one approaches the home.
One of our favorite plants is Lagerstroemia indica, commonly known as the Crape Myrtle. Grown in tree form, it is a beautiful accent to almost any sunny garden. Blooming in late summer, it provides four seasons of interest with its beautiful bark, gracious silhouette, and fall color.
This tiered deck provides the client with several different entertaining areas. In addition, the lower level provided the perfect private space for a spa. Carefully groomed planting beds surround the area.
This slope was cleared and replanted with a variety of evergreens including spruces and junipers. These plants are deer-resistant.
This flagstone stairway is built on a poured concrete base. It incorporates a gracious curve, providing interesting planting opportunities and easy access to the backyard.
